Tails of NW CT - Calling All Artists

Call for Artists - Submit a Design to Decorate a Dog

Artists are invited to create works of art by painting or decorating fiberglass dog forms for a region-wide public art event.  The completed works will be displayed throughout the towns in Northwest Connecticut served by the collaborating organizers starting in August 2018.  They will then be re-purchased by their respective sponsors OR sold at the TAILS of NW CT Auction on October 20, 2018 to benefit the three collaborating organizations. ?

The three collaborating organizations are the Northwest Connecticut Arts Council, the Northwest Connecticut Chamber Education Foundation and Prime Time House. Whether art is a passion, a past time or a profession, this is a great opportunity to showcase artists’ talents and support three important regional non-profit organizations.  ?

We anticipate a high level of involvement and encourage artists to submit proposals early.

The deadline for submissions is March 31st

Interested Artists can obtain the Prospectus and see the 4 different dog forms at
TAILSof NWCT.org or call (860) 618-0075 or info@artsnwct.org
